Visionpace announces a new style of classroom/on-site training that lets students apply their knowledge in real-world situations.

Visionpace, a software development and training firm, announced a new approach to training software developers that it calls Perfect Coaching.

Perfect Coaching is a blend of traditional classroom-style training and on-site software development. The key driving principal in Perfect Coaching is that the training is delivered on-site, while the students are engaged in working on a real project.

“When you send developers to school, they solve lab problems. When you teach them something new on the job, they solve real business problems,” said Doug Bliss, company COO and Perfect Coach.

Visionpace still offers traditional classroom training, but developed this model as they found many of their clients appreciated the experiential aspect of the training they naturally delivered in existing software development engagements.

Visionpace was founded in 1992 and has offices in Kansas City, Phoenix and San Diego. The firm is a Microsoft Certified Partner.
