Enterworks Releases Data Integration Solution for NT

Enterworks, a provider of software for integrating e-business data and processes, announced the release of VirtualDB for NT. VirtualDB creates a single view of data from all enterprise data sources, allowing enterprises to rapidly build and deploy data models across both internal and external systems to support e-business.

VirtualDB for NT provides companies with a solution for accessing, integrating, managing, and distributing information throughout an enterprise. The product accesses information from more than 70 different data sources and creates unified views using familiar Web browsers. Its object-oriented MetaCatalog maps enterprise data to semantically meaningful terms for rapidly prototyping, building, and modifying business views and e-business applications without impacting existing systems. With VirtualDB for NT, users have greater control over data resources and the ability to build applications that more accurately meet their real-world business needs. The object-based architecture conforms data models to users' business requirements, rather than forcing users to adapt their processes and applications to the limitations of current data systems.

VirtualDB for NT is currently available.
