Microsoft Zero-Day Patches on Upswing

Lost in all the brouhaha of the latest spitting match between Microsoft and Google -- this one about a Windows XP exploit that Google discovered and didn't give Microsoft any chance to respond to before it went public -- is that fact that it's Microsoft's eighth zero-day vulnerability threat this year.
