DevelopersNation.net, Palm Team on Palm OS Developers Portal

DevelopersNation.net announced that it has struck a deal with Palm Inc. to create a third-party portal for Palm OS developers worldwide. DevelopersNation.net will serve as a comprehensive online resource for the Palm OS development community, offering a full range of services including an extensive Palm OS development library.

DevelopersNation.net (www.developersnation.net) will offer over 100,000 Palm (www.palm.com) developers worldwide access to an easy reference technical library that answers many Palm OS development issues and questions.

Services planned for the initial launch include comprehensive business services for Palm OS developers, including seed-stage financing opportunities, marketing and promotional programs, corporate software development opportunities, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and job boards. Additional developer resources will be made available as the site is further developed.

The portal is part of the Palm OS Developer Service Network, a program recently announced by Palm that will address the technical and business needs of Palm OS developers.

DevelopersNation.net also plans to launch a full slate of seminars, conferences, and workshops. The first two workshops, called Coders Conclave, will be held this fall. – Isaac Slepner
