AVT Launches New Unified Messaging System

AVT Corp. released the newest versions of its CallXpress messaging solution, CallXpress and CallXpress Enterprise Version 5.30. The new version features several enhancements.

Voice reply to e-mail enables a mobile user to respond to e-mail messages from any telephone. The Live Reply function allows users to respond to a message from an outside caller with a live telephone call, directly connecting the user to the person who left the message with a push of one button. Expanded attachment rendering allows users to access several types of e-mail attachments from the telephone, including Microsoft Office documents, and forward the messages and attachments.

The new version also includes AVT's Global User Administration client application, which provides a unified view of all CallXpress and CallXpress Enterprise systems across a network. Version 5.30's Digital Networking module automatically synchronizes user and server data across the Internet, reducing maintenance tasks for the administrator.
