Acta Delivers Betas of Data-Caching Suite

Acta Technology Inc. introduced the beta release of two components of its enterprise-to-e-commerce (e2e) product suite, ActaWorks RealTime (RT) and Acta Customer Order e-Cache. The new products make full use of Acta's data-caching technology and will provide online access to back-end data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP.

e-Caches are packaged databases that can be deployed to hook e-commerce front-ends to ERP back-ends. An e-Cache stages critical ERP data in a relational database. Each e-Cache contains pre-defined ActaWorks RT data extraction jobs that automatically populate and continuously update the cache with a company's SAP R/3 data.
