Quadstone, CVS Partner With CustomerConversion

Quadstone Inc. and drugstore giant CVS have partnered in deploying Quadstone’s CustomerConversion software to better analyze the traffic on CVS' web site. While customers entering a physical drug store typically enter with the intention to purchase, customers at a virtual drugstore often browse without making a purchase. With the help of CustomerConversion, CVS is hoping to more profitably direct its online customers' surfing.

Most web traffic software simply records hits per page, giving little indication how the hits translate into overall customer behavior, and offering little insight to a traditional retailer. Quadstone’s CustomerConversion attempts to model customer behavior using clickstreams and observed patterns. The collected data is converted into Key Behavior Indicators (KBI), allowing CVS to maximize their online marketing efforts. Additionally, the software attempts to predict which customers are most likely to be regular, purchasing customers, and develop a paradigm, so CVS can attract and aggressively market to them.

CustomerConversion is available for both NT and Unix systems.
