Brio Releases Revenue Optimization App

Brio Technology has released Brio.Impact 4.0, the latest version of its analytic application for revenue optimization. Brio.Impact 4.0 includes an integrated extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) capability for faster implementation, that reduces deployment time by as much as one third. In addition, Brio.Impact 4.0 provides new, more powerful personalization capabilities and an enhanced user interface.

With the new release, Brio has entered into a partnership with systemfabrik of Hamburg, Germany, to integrate data extraction, transformation, and loading capabilities into Brio.Impact. Systemfabrik's Warehouse Workbench provides a critical set of functionality to ensure that the data used to drive Brio.Impact analyses and reports has been cleaned, transformed, and loaded reliably and efficiently. It also provides a robust set of capabilities to enable data to be combined from any number of source systems.

In addition to the integration of ETL capabilities, Brio.Impact 4.0 features a number of new features that are targeted to enhance a user's experience with the product. The new version features enhanced and simplified GUIs, streamlined enrichment tools, and customized news pages. Brio.Impact's enhanced and simplified administration GUIs minimize the time and cost for the IT staff, while new publisher GUIs use metrics, graphs, and report pages to make it easy for the business team to evolve the application with new best practices.

Brio.Impact also features a Web-based, graphical NewsPage of day-to-day performance indicators that enable users to diagnose anomalies, capitalize on opportunities, and head off problems they otherwise would have missed. With the NewsPage Graphical Editor, users and the publisher can build and customize NewsPages. Combinations of metrics, drilling, and constraints can be bookmarked with a copy and paste to the NewsPage.

Brio.Impact 4.0 is currently available.
