Unicore Technologies to Ship Network Attached Storage Solutions

Unicore Technologies Corp. today announced the availability of NAServer, an Ultra SCSI, network-attached departmental data storage device. NAServer will be compatible with Axis Communications' Axis StorPoint NAS 100 Server when that device becomes available.

NAServer includes thin server technology that increases the efficiency of network traffic on both large and small network environments. In a larger environment, it will allow the main servers to be free of heavy data access for search and retrieval process. In a smaller environment, it can be utilized as the main shared storage available to all users. Some of NAServer's features include industry standard open hardware, real-time operating system, Web browser configuration and management, and RAID 5 via built-in SCSI to SCSI controller for H-A series.
