As part of the ramp up for the full launch of SharePoint 2010 sometime in the first half of this year, the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Group released Ready-to-Go (RTG) Campaign materials for partners.
The program includes many of the usual RTG elements, such as presentations and videos highlighting the partner opportunity, event resources, sales presentations and white papers, list services, direct marketing resources and Web site content.
Microsoft's new campaign is called "SharePoint 2010: The Business Collaboration Platform" and is designed for partners serving organizations with at least 250 seats. (For more details on SharePoint 2010, see "Microsoft's 2010 Product Roadmap.")
The materials identify the top opportunity as customers who currently own two out of three Core Client Access License Suite components: Windows Server and Exchange Server but not SharePoint.
