Intermedia Offers Resellers Hosted Exchange 2010

Private-label offering includes uptime SLA and data guarantee.

New York-based hosted Exchange giant Intermedia this month upgraded its messaging platform to Exchange 2010 for its Private Label Partner Program.

Under the program, partners can sell and support hosted Exchange using their own brands rather than Intermedia's. The offering also recently became part of the Ingram Micro Seismic bundle of cloud-based, partner-represented services.

Intermedia previously supported hosted Exchange 2007 for partners. The company began direct hosting of Exchange 2010 in early November before integrating it into the Private Label Partner Program.

Intermedia's program also includes a 99.999-percent-uptime service level agreement and a data protection guarantee. Intermedia's full suite of hosted communications and collaboration software that partners can offer also includes Office Communication Server 2007, Exchange 2007, SharePoint 3.0 WSS, Blackberry Enterprise Server and fax services.

The company has more than 4,000 partners and 420,000 e-mail subscribers, about half of which are on premium Exchange mailboxes.
