OpenConnect Introduces Web-Enabling Technologies for E-Business

OpenConnect Systems Inc. has announced four new enterprise-to-Web technology categories under its i-Ware suite. The new software elements Web-enable enterprise applications for customizable e-business solutions. The new technologies include Network Callable Transactions and Enterprise Integration Connectors.
Network Callable Transactions provide the architecture that links enterprise business processes with new e-business applications using component-level technology. Applications can quickly access data from any source and be restructured into a component for reusability. The Enterprise Integration Connectors enable drag-and-drop functionality designed to simplify the access, manipulation, and retrieval of information within traditional enterprise data applications.
The new i-Ware technology categories are i-Ware.Connect, i-Ware.Access, i-Ware.Transform, and i-Ware.Integrate. Connect provides connectivity between enterprise systems and e-business application, Access provides browser-based access to enterprise information, Transform automates business processes by consolidating enterprise applications, and Integrate, which includes Network Callable Transactions and Enterprise Integration Connectors, creates the architecture for component-level multi-application integration.
