SmartLine Releases Remote Task Manager Update

SmartLine Inc. released version 3.5 of Remote Task Manager, a tool that allows users to control a range of tasks on remote Windows NT and 2000 computers.

With Remote Task Manager, administrators can control tasks, processes, services, devices, shared resources, and events over LAN, WAN, or the Internet.

An administrator can start or stop services or devices, add new services or devices, manage the run level, and adjust security. The Process function and Task Manager allow remote termination and adjustment of priority. An Event Viewer lets the administrator view all events as though they were being run on the host computer. The Performance Monitor displays a dynamic overview of the computer’s performance.
