Dell, Microsoft Introduce Supplier Advantage

Dell Computer Corp. has entered into an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to develop the the Supplier Advantage program, a plug-in solution for e-commerce suppliers that will enable quick integration with business to business marketplaces, all taking advantage of Microsoft's new .NET technologies.
Supplier Advantage is part of a marketplace initiative that brings together suppliers and buyers in a B2B community. The Dell Marketplace is just one of the available collaborations. The program consists of two Dell PowerEdge 4400 servers running Microsoft's .NET platform, including Windows 2000 Server, Commerce 2000 Server, BizTalk 2000 Server and SQL Server 2000. Users should be participating in digital marketplaces within 30 days.
