Compaq, Andersen Consulting Target .NET

Compaq Computer Corp. is joining forces with Andersen Consulting to create facilities that will focus on developing large-scale business applications built on affordable platforms using Microsoft Corp.'s .NET technologies.

Two facilities, one based with each company, will be developing Windows 2000 and .NET Enterprise server products with Compaq ProLiant servers and storage in conjunction with Andersen Consulting's Microsoft Solutions Organization (MSO) technicians.  The facilities will be staffed by both companies and work concurrently, often on the same project.
