Dell’s OpenManage Expands for Easier W2K Professional Migration

Dell Computer Corp. announced the availability of Premier Migration Assistant, a Dell OpenManage systems management tool, to help U.S. business customers migrate to Windows 2000 Professional. Premier Migration Assistant can capture an end user’s data, applications, and settings and transfer them to a new PC with Windows 2000 Professional.

Premier Migration Assistant combines the personal settings and data migration capabilities of Miramar Systems Desktop DNA with the unattended software and configuration management features of ON Technology ON Command Special Edition. This tool helps expedite the setup of a system after it has been deployed to its final location.

The Premier Migration Assistant is the latest addition to the Dell Windows 2000 Premier Migration Program.
