Planet 7 Delivers XML Infrastructure Solutions

Planet 7 Technologies Inc., a provider of e-commerce infrastructure, announced it has entered into a cooperative marketing agreement with Extensibility Inc., a provider of XML enabling technolgies.

Under the agreement, Planet 7 will bundle a trial version of Turbo XML, a suite of three Extensibility products, with its XML Network Server (XNS).

The XML Network Server creates a transactions space inside the organization's data flow where XML-based information can be aggregated, updated, and simultaneously acted upon by multiple parties, both inside and outside the company. The server's Java-based architecture permits disparate enterprise applications to be quickly integrated via NML-based data transport without requiring layers of proprietary middleware or application server software.

Trial versions of Extensibility's XML Authority, XML Instance, and XML Console will be included with the XNS development package to help developers create network applications. XML Authority is a solution for the development, management, and processing of XML schemas for e-business. XML Instance is a schema-driven XML business document editor and a platform for the creation, editing, and management of data-oriented XML documents, messages, and configuration files. XML Console enabled the centralized batch conversion, validation, and documentation management of XML schemas and instance documents within a workgroup.
