Secant Ships Internet Server for Server-Side Java Hosting

Secant Technologies Inc. announced general availability of its Extreme Internet Server 3.5, a Web application server designed to meet the demanding Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages hosting requirements of both enterprise developers and ISPs and ASPs. It is the newest addition to the Secant Extreme family of infrastructure solutions.

Extreme Internet Server incorporates the same cross-platform clustering and load balancing technology found in the Secant Extreme Enterprise Server. Secant's distributed service architecture and management tools enable administrators to easily deploy Servlet and JSP applications across a multi-platform cluster of servers.

Extreme Internet Server is available for Linux, BSDi, Windows NT and 2000, and Solaris.
