Kingston Introduces USB Adapter for NT, W2K

Kingston Technology Co. Inc., a supplier of network peripherals, announced the release of its Fast EtheRx 10/100 USB adapter. The product is the first in a new line of USB products from Kingston.

The Fast EtheRx 10/100 USB adapter plugs into an available USB port on any desktop or laptop running Windows 98, NT, or 2000. The product is designed to make setting up a LAN a plug-and-play experience. Configuration is accomplished via the operating system. Additionally, by utilizing the Fast EtheRx 10/100 USB adapter there is no need to occupy an ISA, PCI, or PC card slot, and the USB eliminates the need for an external power supply.
