Opalis Launches Monitoring Solution

Opalis Software Inc. released its EventMonitor, a software solution that provides real-time monitoring, notification, and reporting of essential Windows NT/2000 resources.

The software provides a Web interface and several features to help administrators achieve optimal network efficiency. Administrators are able to set up user-defined filters to extract system information. They can be alerted via e-mail notification that a mission-critical problem exists, while instructing the system to log low-priority data into a central ODBC or SQL database for statistical analysis.
