Argent Releases Quota Server 5.0

Argent Software Inc. released Quota Server 5.0, a disk quota management solution. It includes several new features and functionality.

User-based quotas allow the administrator to set quotas on individual user accounts, group accounts, and objects. It allows a 1 GB quota to be set on a shared object and 50 MB quotas to be set on each user with access to that object.

Quota Server 5.0 will automatically detect new users and assign them a disk quota based on a template, and will delete quotas when an account is deleted. Enhanced reporting allows reports to be automatically created based on disk and storage information. HTML pages can be created with several categories of system information.
