Pivot Technologies Extends Consulting Practice to Windows 2000

Pivot Technologies Inc., a newly reorganized subsidiary of Micros-to-Mainframes Inc. with a focus on automating corporate enterprise networks, is stretching its consulting services to Windows 2000 migrations and deployments. Pivot will focus on helping clients deploy Windows 2000-associated technologies including the Active Directory, Web-based Enterprise Management (WBEM), and policy-based network management. Pivot plans to offer formal packages for Windows 2000 Planning for Migration and Deployment and Windows 2000 deployment services. The company is also establishing a distributed Windows 2000 Advanced Server network laboratory across its labs in New York City, Rocky Hill, Conn., and Valley Cottage, N.Y., to assist in the services practice. The company plans to perform internal prototyping of Active Directory technology and directory-enabled applications such as Exchange Server 2000 for customers in the distributed labs.
