Pivot Technologies Inc., a newly reorganized subsidiary of
Micros-to-Mainframes Inc. with a focus on automating corporate enterprise
networks, is stretching its consulting services to Windows 2000 migrations and
deployments. Pivot will focus on helping clients deploy Windows 2000-associated
technologies including the Active Directory, Web-based Enterprise Management
(WBEM), and policy-based network management. Pivot plans to offer formal packages
for Windows 2000 Planning for Migration and Deployment and Windows 2000
deployment services. The company is also establishing a distributed Windows
2000 Advanced Server network laboratory across its labs in New York City, Rocky
Hill, Conn., and Valley Cottage, N.Y., to assist in the services practice. The
company plans to perform internal prototyping of Active Directory technology
and directory-enabled applications such as Exchange Server 2000 for customers
in the distributed labs.
