Megaputer Announces PolyAnalyst Update

Megaputer Intelligence Ltd. has announced the release of its data mining solution PolyAnalyst 4.0.

In the latest version, PolyAnalyst utilizes Distributed Object Model (DCOM) technology, and provides data manipulation, visualization, and scoring capabilities. In addition to clustering, predicting, dependency detecting, and yes/no classifying, version 4.0 solves tasks of explicit modeling, detection of association rules in transactional data, and classification to multiple categories. An open DCOM architecture allows the user to upgrade, extend and customize PolyAnalyst.

Some of the product's new features include, a market basket analysis algorithm for processing transactional data; support for analysis of large data sets; a redesigned user interface; dynamic HTML reports for exploration engines; and direct data exchange with Oracle's Express and IBM's Visual Warehouse.

PolyAnalyst 4.0 is currently available.
