Mitten Software Enhances FTP Transfers

Mitten Software Inc. has announced dataIntact, an FTP improvement application. DataIntact improves FTP by adding a low overhead messaging system. It informs the sender that each file was sent intact through a confirmation of delivery. Additionally, files are automatically compressed and encrypted. The features boost data transfer speeds by 40 to 90 percent and improve the privacy and security of transmissions, according to the company.

DataIntact is currently available.
