MessageWise Releases Latest "Touchless" Management Tool

MessageWise Inc. today released version 2.0 of InLook, a "touchless" auditing, tracking and configuration management tool for Exchange Server. InLook incorporates technology that audits any server, Exchange or otherwise, without client software on the server it is monitoring. This is done so that management can begin immediately on servers that may be in remote locations.

InLook has an open architecture designed to allow third party developers to build management solutions using the "touchless" approach that InLook uses. InLook is also integrated with Windows NT security to provide unified logon. Version 2.0 includes a new client that allows administrators to view and manage collected data with greater ease and flexibility, and the InLook Developer that allows administrators to rapidly define the data to be collected without writing scripts.

Version 2.0 will be in public beta in Q1 2000 and pricing is based on the number of servers being managed.
