Growth in the Finance Vertical

Financial firms have long been ahead of the curve in technology. Accounting for instance, was one of the first finance related disciplines to automate basic tasks. So it's natural that financial services firms and small finance shops, payment remittance companies and payroll vendors would turn to MSPs to parse some of their work.

Some MSPs are reportedly targeting financial clients and other shops are managing and hosting compliance automation software and cloud offerings in the world of finance.

"Finance talent should be focused on critical business issues," explains Theresa Clark, vice president of finance transformation for a finance governance software firm, "not mired in manual tasks that technology can automate with a surprising level of accuracy and detail."

Clark, a keynote speaker at the IQPC Finance Transformation Conference will talk about, among other things. how to determine which processes lend themselves to automation.

The conference will have workshops on best practices in automation projects, and will talk about the advantages of using vendor software and managed services in the area of finance.
