Some key comparisons to the same quarter a year ago:

  • Revenue down 6%
  • Net income down 32%
  • Client revenue down 16%
  • Server and Tools revenue up 7%
  • Transactional and OEM revenues down 15%
  • Online advertising revenues down 13%

Microsoft's next financial quarter, and its fiscal year, ends June 30. The company plans to release those results on July 23.
