Winternals Develops New Monitoring Tool

Winternals Software LP released a new network monitoring solution, TCPView Professional Edition. TCPView Pro examines TCP/IP activity on Windows-based systems, listing all TCP and UDP endpoints on the system.
TCPView Pro details which process is associated with which TCP/IP address, a feature that simplifies the task of determining what application is responsible for specific connections and activity. TCPView Pro is similar to Monitoring Tools, but it monitors TCP/IP activity rather than file system and registry activity.
TCPView Pro works by trapping TCP/IP activity at the lowest level of Windows operating systems in order to monitor the activity. It emulates all active TCP and UDP endpoints, resolving all IP addresses to their domain name versions. It presents data in two views, dynamic and static. The dynamic view presents TCP/IP activity in real time.
TCPView Pro comes with a command line tool called TCPVStat, that displays the same information as the static view.
TCPView Pro monitors TCP/IP activity on Windows 98, NT 4.0, and 2000 systems.
