Business Objects Announces Support for IBM DB2

Business Objects has recently announced it will enhance its products to support IBM DB2 version 7, the latest release of IBM’s Universal Database.

Currently, Business Objects supports IBM DB2 version 6, Visual Warehouse, and IBM DB OLAP server products. The company plans continued support of these IBM products through their next release.

Business Objects and WebIntelligence are Business Objects’ full and thin client e-business intelligence solutions -- both of which work with IBM DB2, Visual Warehouse, and IBM DB OLAP server. Support of the IBM products means that existing Business Objects customers will be able to continue using their products and will be able to access data from DB2 version 7.
