Alero Integrates with SharePoint 2003

Alero Technology has announced Alero for SharePoint, a collaborative solution for mobile offices that integrates with Microsoft Office and SharePoint 2003 to provide repository, content, process and integration capabilities.

Alero for SharePoint is “a light weight, modular, easy-to-use development framework with built-in enterprise content integration, enterprise information integration, enterprise content management and business process management capabilities, according to a statement by the San Diego, Calif. company.

The product combines collaborative features in Office applications with enterprise functions such as document imaging, document management, report management, content archival and storage management, as well as business process management and content integration.
