Three network and software testing divisions of Teradyne Inc. - Hammer Technologies, RSW Software, and Software and Systems Test (SST) - announced that they are combining to form an independent provider of performance testing and monitoring solutions called Empirix Inc.
Empirix (www.empirix.com) will offer testing solutions to address the needs of communications equipment providers, e-businesses, and enterprise call centers.
Hammer Technologies (www.hammer.com) is a provider of automated voice and data testing solutions. In the past, the company developed a DS3 testing system and was first to market with voice over IP (VoIP) testing solutions.
RSW Software (www.rswsoftware.com) provides organizations with e-business application testing solutions.
