Empirix Spins off from Teradyne

Three network and software testing divisions of Teradyne Inc. - Hammer Technologies, RSW Software, and Software and Systems Test (SST) - announced that they are combining to form an independent provider of performance testing and monitoring solutions called Empirix Inc.
Empirix (www.empirix.com) will offer testing solutions to address the needs of communications equipment providers, e-businesses, and enterprise call centers.
Hammer Technologies (www.hammer.com) is a provider of automated voice and data testing solutions. In the past, the company developed a DS3 testing system and was first to market with voice over IP (VoIP) testing solutions.
RSW Software (www.rswsoftware.com) provides organizations with e-business application testing solutions. The company has previously provided an automated testing solution for Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs), eliminating the need for programming. Additionally, RSW provided an integrated testing solution specifically designed for Web applications.
SST provides TestMaster, a test generation solution for computer telephony and software-based communications systems. - Isaac Slepner
