SAS Institute announced that its set of e-intelligence solutions will support the forthcoming Microsoft 64-bit Windows operating system when it debuts in 2001. SAS is working with Microsoft Corp. to tune and optimize SAS software for the 64-bit Windows environment.
SAS (www.sas.com) demonstrated a data visualization component of its e-intelligence solutions running on a 64-bit version of Windows at the Intel Developer's Forum in San Jose, Calif. The data visualization software provides real time multi-dimensional analysis and gives knowledge workers the ability to graphically explore and evaluate Web-based and traditional data, helping them identify patterns and trends that affect their business.
The SAS Solution for e-Intelligence consists of several SAS technologies. e-Discovery helps companies improve customer loyalty and retention; WebHound helps companies understand the effectiveness of their Web content and various channels; and IT Service Vision ensures peat IT performance and quick response Web server availability. - Isaac Slepner
