Wyse Develops Entry-Level Enterprise Windows Terminals

Wyse Technology Inc. released a new category of entry-level Windows-based terminals for enterprises with the Wyse Winterm 3200LE Windows-based terminal. The legacy-free terminal is designed to meet the demands of task-based workers operating in collaborative enterprise environments.
The Winterm 3200LE terminal delivers a suite of personal thin clients and is designed for network environments in which access to e-mail, Internet connectivity, and productivity applications are key. The Winterm 3200LE is also able to migrate legacy environments utilizing character terminals to Windows computing.
Winterm 3200LE is based on Windows CE and supports connectivity through Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol and Citrix Systems' ICA technology to connect to Windows 2000 server with Terminal Services enabled, Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, or Citrix MetaFrame servers via 10/100baseT Ethernet connection.
