Microsoft on Thursday issued a hotfix to patch a new vulnerability that could render Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 systems susceptible to denial of service (DoS) attacks. Microsoft ranks the vulnerability as a low risk over the Internet and a moderate risk for intranets. The hotfix was temporarily pulled from Microsoft's Web site Thursday night.
