IAMCP Gets New International President

Ulises Aguilar Nahle began his six-month term as president of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners this week.

Nahle, president of IAMCP LatAm, got the job through the newly instituted rotation of the international presidency among the presidents of the IAMCP's four most established geographies. Nahle takes over from longtime IAMCP President Per Werngren, who agreed to end his tenure by serving the first six-month presidency.

Nahle, of e-Nfinito, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner based in Mexico, served the last six months as Werngren's vice president. Kerry Gerontianos, president of the U.S. IAMCP, will be Nahle's vice president and will rotate into the presidency in six months.

Next up in the rotation will be the president of IAMCP Canada, followed again by the president of the IAMCP EMEA. If the IAMCP APAC continues to grow as rapidly as group officials expect, that geography could be added into the presidential rotation.

In an interview at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, D.C. on Sunday,  Nahle said he has two main priorities for his term: "Synchronization between regions and chapters of the IAMCP is very important," he said. He also said he'd like to facilitate the sharing of best practices among IAMCP geographies.

Gerontianos said that other priorities for the international IAMCP include being predictable to Microsoft and providing plenty of feedback on the new Microsoft Partner Network. "There's a whole network that we have to make sure the partners are comfortable with," Gerontianos said.
