Partners of security giant Symantec Corp. will soon be able to give the company more feedback on its partner program.
Cupertino, Calif.-based Symantec plans to survey 25 percent of its partners every quarter, gauging their satisfaction and using the results to improve the program, says Julie Parrish, vice president of the company's Global Channel Office. Symantec based its partner-satisfaction program entirely on its customer-satisfaction program.
Symantec also opened the higher levels of its four-level program-including Registered, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels-to smaller and niche partners.
The company has also introduced online assessments for technical certifications and a new portal, PartnerNet 3.0.
