Cardinal Solutions Opens Charlotte Office

Cardinal Solutions Group, an 11-year-old Microsoft Gold Certified solutions provider with offices in Cincinnati and Columbus, is expanding outside of Ohio for the first time by opening an office in Charlotte, N.C.

Cardinal focuses on Fortune 500 companies as customers and specializes in banking, financial services, manufacturing, retail and government. The company chose to expand into Charlotte partly because of the number of Fortune 500 companies near the city and Charlotte's strength as a financial center.

The $19-million company has 160 employees, including 40 in the Columbus office that opened in 2004. In addition to solution provider work, Cardinal does client training and resells software from Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Business Objects and UGS Teamcenter.

Jim Milam will manage the Charlotte office.
