LeftHand Networks, a provider of open iSCSI storage area network (SAN)
solutions, announced its 1,000th customer installment while doubling its sales
year over year. LeftHand’s SAN/iQ software is available on a variety
of platforms including HP Proliant DL380 and MPC's DataFRAME SAN Solutions.
The Boulder, Colo.-based company also delivers storage servers based on Intel
Xeon processors enabled by its SAN/iQ software through its OEM and value-added

Server Technology Inc. released new cabinet (power) distribution units
(CDUs) designed to provide power to high-density server applications with remote
control. The new Sentry units distribute 3-Phase power within the equipment
cabinet in 30 amp and 60 amp applications. These devices provide over 8.5 kW
