Fortify Software Inc. released
Source Code Analysis 3.5, a suite
of tools for identifying and resolving software security risks before they are
shipped or deployed. The new Structural Analyzer can detect 115 vulnerability
categories across various programming languages, which now include .NET 2.0
support for C# 2.0, VB .NET 2.0, ASP .NET 2.0, Microsoft T-SQL and expanded
JSP support for BEA Weblogics and IBM Websphere.

storage pool mirroring solutions. DataCore’s DR solutions are designed
to protect terabyte-size storage pools serving multiple application servers

Fidelis Security Systems announced the general availability of DataSafe
Version 3.8, a network security system that prevents unauthorized network
transfer of critical or sensitive information. DataSafe -- which the company
said is the first extrusion prevention system -- protects digital assets across
all network channels including e-mail, http, FTP, instant messaging and P2P
apps. DataSafe's multiple content analyzers use a variety of methods -- statistical

Foundry Networks released two new high-performance ServerIron Layer
4-7 switches with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) for scalable acceleration and delivery
of Web and VoIP applications. The ServerIronGT C and E Series
application switches include application traffic management, acceleration and
security features. The ServerIronGT C10Gx2 provides two 10-GbE ports, one WSM7
application switch management module, and one expansion slot for $39,995. The
ServerIronGT E10Gx2P offers the same with two expansion slots also for $39,995.
Optional integrated SSL acceleration modules feature one or two processors for
