German utility developer 1-abc.net announced it is shipping a bundle containing
four of its increasingly popular end-user Web tools.
Utility Box 1.0 combines 1-abc.net’s Hard Drive Washer, Surf Trail Washer,
Registry Washer and Startup Organizer products under a single user interface.
The set of utilities are designed to handle many common issues that users encounter,
including removing leftover temporary installation files and Windows Registry
entries, and blotting out surf trails.
Hard Drive Washer locates unnecessary files left by other programs and offers
to delete them for the user. Surf Trail Washer removes temporary Internet files,
cookies, history and URLs while the user is surfing.
Registry Washer examines the user’s registry entries and looks to see
what can be removed, helping to protect privacy by deleting old data. Finally,
Startup Organizer lets users delete, add or modify files and programs they want
to be started with the system, and also enables them to schedule when other
utilities such as defragmentation tools will run.
Utility Box 1.0 costs $29.99, according to a statement from Oldenburg, Germany-based
1-abc.net. Alternatively, each of the four products costs $14.99.
