line, instant-messaging appliances that incorporate an IM server with native
consumer IM traffic filtering, IM archiving and policy management technologies
in an easy-to-use and affordable solution. Barracuda’s offering enables
organizations to secure, monitor and manage IM communication and is interoperable
with such public IM networks as AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and Google Talk. Barracuda
IM Firewall supports up to 7,000 users with prices starting at $1,999 and no

TimeSpring Software Corp. announced the availability of a free version
of its TimeData continuous data protection software that will allow SQL
Server 2005 Customer Technology Preview (CTP) users to test and migrate real-time

Anfibia released Desktop Orbiter 4.1, the company’s security
software for Windows. Features include the ability to secure multiple workstations
