PeopleSoft Ships Pure Internet Business Software

PeopleSoft Inc. began shipping its pure Internet business software, PeopleSoft 8. PeopleSoft 8 requires no software on the client machine.

PeopleSoft 8 allows organizations to create collaborative networks of customers, employees, and suppliers that can be accessed anytime and from anywhere with a standard Web browser. The PeopleSoft Internet Architecture also simplifies integration with third-party systems.

PeopleSoft e-business solutions that began shipping September 1 include PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management, PeopleSoft Human Resources Management, and PeopleSoft Financials.
