Gravity Storm Releases SP Manager 4.4

Gravity Storm Software recently announced a new version of its Service Pack (SP) Manager product. SP Manager version 4.4 includes functionality for scheduling Service Pack installations.

After receiving many requests for a product that installs hotfixes on systems other than Windows NT, the company obliged and responded with the latest version of SP Manager. Included in the latest release is functionality for user-defined hotfixes. With these, users can provide a definition for a hotfix that is not part of the hotfixes hosted on Microsoft's FTP site. Some hotfixes that fall into this category are security-related patches and other weekly patch announcements that come from Microsoft's security bulletins site.

A trial version of Service Pack Manager 4.4 has been posted on the company's Web site.
