ScriptLogic Acquires Small Wonders Software

ScriptLogic Corp. bought privately-held Small Wonders Software, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.

ScriptLogic specializes in desktop administration software for Windows-based networks. Its flagship product is ScriptLogic Enterprise, which enables logon scripting, group policies and user profile management through a graphical management console. The acquisition gives ScriptLogic server-side tools from Small Wonders for maintenance, reporting and auditing of Windows servers and Active Directory.

"This acquisition extends ScriptLogic Corp.'s product portfolio to include solutions strategically targeted toward the industry's ongoing migration to Active Directory," Jason Judge, ScriptLogic CEO, said in a statement.

Brian Small, president of Small Wonders Software, assured customers that the acquisition by ScriptLogic will "only increase the development and support efforts for the current product line, as well as pave the way for future solutions and new technology."

Small Wonders' current product lineup includes Active Administrator, Enterprise Security Reporter, Secure Copy, Security Explorer and Service Explorer.
