NetIQ Updates Response-Time Monitoring Software

NetIQ Corp. upgraded and renamed its response-time monitoring software.
Formerly known as Pegasus, version 4.0 will be called the End2End Performance Monitor.
The Web-based tool measures networked application availability and response times for end users. Real-time alerts warn administrators about degrading conditions.
NetIQ also released three add-on modules: End2End Expert Analysis, End2End Diagnostics on Demand and End2End Service Monitor.
End2End integrates with NetIQ's Operations Manager, which Microsoft licensed for managing Windows 2000 and the .NET Enterprise Servers.
Pricing starts at $25,000 for End2End Performance Monitor 4.0.
