Microsoft Brings OneNote to Android Tablets

Microsoft on Tuesday announced a number of updates to its OneNote notetaking app for both Android and Windows devices.
To begin with, OneNote now runs on Android tablets, expanding the app's usability to include essentially all form factors running the major platforms (it already works on Android smartphones, Windows desktops, Windows tablets, Windows Phones, Apple iPhones and iPads, and, most recently, Mac desktops).
The Android app also includes handwriting or "inking" support (via a stylus or a user's finger), new text formatting options, the ability to organize notes using tags and support for LG G3 devices.
OneNote for Android requires Android OS 4.1 or newer, and can work with OneNote files created in OneNote 2010 or newer. It's available on the Google Play store here.
OneNote for Android now supports tablets and "inking."
Android for Windows 8.x
Microsoft also updated the Windows Store (also known as "Metro"-style) OneNote app to support printing, which the company said in its announcement was "the single biggest feature request" from users. The new feature allows for printing in both landscape and portrait, printing multiple copies and printing on both sides of a sheet.
Another highly requested feature included in the new OneNote app for Windows is the ability to add files and .PDFs onto a OneNote file and annotate them.
OneNote for Windows also now includes a highlighter tool, as well as bug fixes and updates to accessibility capabilities. It's available on the Windows Store here.
