Name: David Wilkins
Title: President of X20

RCP: What's the elevator pitch for your company to a Microsoft partner?
Wilkins: X2O Media enables visual communications -- users can easily create video channels with links to real-time data and publish those channels to any device. With the X2O platform, content already stored in SharePoint is automatically mapped to stunning graphics, letting even non-technical users create TV-quality channels. Examples of channels include dashboard channels, company and department news channels, training channels and more.

For partners who may not have thought about your company since the last WPC, what would they need to know about what you've been up to for the past 12 months?
It's our first WPC. In the last 12 months, we've created a new generation of channel designer tools that further simplify the content creation process. We've also developed tools to publish to additional devices, including tablets and smart phones.

Out of your entire product portfolio, what's the product or service that Microsoft partners should be aware of right now?
SharePoint TV -- it lets users quickly create and publish professional video channels featuring live data, videos, images, calendars, PowerPoint slides and dashboard data to any display, including Windows phones, tablets, digital displays and desktops.

Are you announcing anything at WPC?
We're not making a specific announcement at WPC but we're showing our new, end-to-end SharePoint TV solution for the first time.

What should Microsoft partners keep an eye out for from your company over the next year?
Rolling out SharePoint TV to various verticals including retail.

Why should someone visit your booth this year (free stuff, amazing demo, contest, promotion, etc.)?
We'll have a stunning video wall displaying live Tweets from the show as well as our SharePoint TV solution.

As a company, what are your goals for WPC this year?
Our goals are to meet Microsoft partners including Microsoft SIs, network with Microsoft staff, gain insights into Microsoft's product roadmap and demo our solution to prospective customers.

What's the profile of the ideal partner you're hoping to connect with at WPC this year?
An SI or VAR who sells SharePoint solutions.

Who are some of your team members a partner might meet at your booth (names and titles)?
David Wilkins, president; Sean Shaughnessy, executive vice president of sales.

For partners' post-show follow-up, who should they contact and how (phone number or e-mail address)?
Maria Porco, VP of business development, at [email protected] or (408) 988-8307.
