Microsoft Opens 2008 Partner Awards for Nominations

Microsoft recently announced that nominations are open for its 2008 Partner Awards, to be given out at the company's Worldwide Partner Conference this July in Houston.

More than 40 awards will be handed out at the conference, with most applying to the competency/specialization of the partner -- including, for example, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions: Storage Solutions Partner of the Year; Information Worker Solutions: Unified Communications Partner of the Year; Security Solutions: Infrastructure Security Partner of the Year; and ISV/Software Solutions Partner of the Year.

Other awards include Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year, Distribution Partner of the Year and Citizenship Partner of the Year, which is open to all partners. A complete list of the categories can be found here. Rules for applying are online here.

Partners must submit themselves for the awards by April 8 using the online tool found here.
