RPG development solutions provider ASNA announces support for Visual Studio.

Amalgamated Software of North America (ASNA) announced on Friday it will support Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 in its IBM RPG application development solution products for AS/400 iSeries systems.

"ASNA was the first to adopt .NET from amongst the many companies traditionally supporting the RPG developer," said Anne Ferguson, president of ASNA. "ASNA's development solutions help customers extend the value of their iSeries systems to include Web services and Service Oriented Architectures through the use Microsoft's .NET Framework and today we are signaling our continued belief that this is the best architecture for the market."

Based in San Antonio, Texas, ASNA is a Microsoft Certified Partner, an IBM Tools Network Partner and an Advanced Tier Member of IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers.
