Level 8 Releases Java Message Queuing

Level 8 Systems Inc., a provider of e-business integration software, plans to release Geneva Message Queuing for Java. The new release will leverage the Microsoft Message Quese Services (MSMQ) component of Windows DNA to write downloadable, platform-independent Java applets for the Web or use with non-Windows systems.
Geneva Message Queuing is a comprehensive implementation of the MSMQ for a range of non-Windows operating systems. MSMQ is an integrated component of DNA, Microsoft's development architecture for building Windows applications and an enabling technology of the Windows platform.
Level 8 (www.level8.com) has an exclusive agreement with Microsoft Corp. (www.microsoft.com) to develop, market, and sell non-Windows versions of MSMQ.
Geneva Message Queuing will be generally available in the second quarter and will range in price from $2,500 to $20,000 depending on platform. -- Isaac Slepner
